RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement) allows real-time instant payments or funds transfer of up to 2 lakhs.
The old timings for RTGS transactions were 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM which now has been changed.
The latest RTGS transaction timings are as follows:
- Transaction opening time is 7:00 AM
- Customer transactions time for initial cut-off is 6:00 PM
- The inter-bank transaction time for final cut-off is 7:45 PM
- Intra-day liquidity i.e. IDL Reversal is from 7:45 PM to 8:00 PM
- Closing of the system is at 8:00 PM
